BITING RUMP

Fantasy Sports Humor/Oddities That Bite

About Me

Me, back in my acting days

Me, back in my acting days

Jeremy Fischer is my real name.  Yep, that’s me to the left.  Ain’t I handsome?  Wow, you didn’t have to be that mean.  It was a rhetorical question.

I have been writing/blogging about the lighter side of sports, including fantasy sports, for 5 years now.  I mainly have worked for other sites, but decided it was time to make my first foray into owning/operating my own blog.  My award-winning (more on that in a second) work can be seen at:  www.getsportsinfo.com and www.fantasyfootballtrader.com.  It is the latter site that I recently won an award for my work (see, I told you there would be more on this).  I was recently awarded with the 2008 Best Humor Article of the Year award by the Fantasy Sports Writers Association, for an article regarding fantasy football that I penned in October of 2008.  You can find that article, if you’re interested by clicking on my page marked (O, so creatively):  Award Winner.

I live in a nice Midwestern city.  (You didn’t really think I was going to tell you exactly where, did you?  I mean, if you hate my work and want to come after me someday, fine.  But you’re at least going to have to work at it.  Sheesh.  I’m not that easy.)

I have a wife of 9 years, a 1-year old daughter, and a monstrous, ferocious, 11-lb. dog called Tex.   Okay, okay, stop twisting my arm.  He might make 11-lbs. soaking wet.  Hey, I was just trying to boost the little dude’s esteem, alright?  For crying out loud, he doesn’t even have a manly sounding breed name; he’s a doodle.  Or a doxi-poo.  Whichever you prefer.  For those not into dogs, that’s a cross between a dachsund and a toy poodle.

If you enjoy my work, please tell all of your friends.  I would much appreciate it.  If you own a magazine (online or print), a website, or any other publication, and would like me to write for you, you can either leave a comment, or email me at:  jeremy_w_fischer@yahoo.com.

Thanks so much for visiting and taking an interest.  And as they said on The Beverly Hillbillies, “Ya’ll come back now.  You hear?”
